Privacy & independence

This page explains this public website and the separate installed LTM application.

This website

This information website has no accounts, advertising or analytics scripts. Its optional feedback form is handled by Netlify. Hosting providers also process ordinary web requests and operational logs when delivering the website.

Local preferences

If you change the language or colour theme, this site remembers that preference in your browser’s local storage. These values are not sent to an LTM account or analytics service.

Release information

The page may make an anonymous, credential-free request from your browser to the public GitHub API to display current release versions. The download links still work if that request fails. GitHub receives ordinary network information when you use its service.

External links

Demo, downloads and documentation open services operated separately from this website. Their own policies apply. The earlier Danish Tally form is a separate service.

Voluntary feedback

Your message and any optional email or image are stored in the project owner’s Netlify form inbox. If email notifications are enabled, a copy is also sent to the owner. Feedback stays in the owner’s submission inbox and notifications until removed. Use this form to request removal. Only the fields you submit are included. Email and screenshots are optional. Do not send real names, congregation records, IB, private databases, passwords or connection files.

The installed application

Your installed LTM records are stored on the system you select. This website does not connect to or read that installation. Internet-dependent map/address services and optional public Google Drive images have their own data flows; consult the application privacy guide for the details.

The browser demo

The interactive demo uses fictional records and browser-local state. It is a demonstration, not a private production system or a replacement for the installed application’s authentication and role enforcement.

Independent project

LTM is an unofficial, independent open-source project. It is not developed, published or endorsed by Jehovah’s Witnesses or their organisation. Official logos are not used here.
